new beginnings

DAISY

I currently serve as the founder and CEO at Offline Protocol, the infrastructure layer that enables an ecosystem of products and applications to operate without internet or phone service.

In 2023, I founded Anokha, a consumer social platform using crypto-economic incentives to encourage positivity on social media. We got acquired for bits and pieces in January 2024.

From 2020 to 2023 I worked at Mastercard, last serving as their Global Web3 Product Lead. I got this daisy tattoo symbolizing new beginnings the summer after I resigned from my role.

eternal love

JASMINE

I grew up in India, surrounded by the quiet strength of my family. While my parents worked long hours to secure my future, my days after school were filled with art classes, music lessons, football academies, and most importantly—time with my great grandma, my beloved nani-ji. Her room was my refuge: a place where I could celebrate my joys, process my sadness, and simply be myself.

Nani-ji taught me some of life’s most enduring lessons. She showed me the power of patience and how to process my emotions in healthy, honest ways. From her, I learned about love—especially self-love—and the importance of always speaking my mind and pursuing what I desire. My passion for music, my curiosity to try new instruments, and my love for singing all trace back to the afternoons we spent together, her gentle guidance shaping my interests and my character. Even now, I carry her memory with me—this tattoo I got six years after her passing, serves as a permanent reminder of her love.

As I navigated the challenges of growing up, I became a confidant for friends and classmates struggling with anxiety, bullying, and depression. A pivotal moment came when I stayed up late talking a friend through a mental health crisis, realizing how powerful empathy and open conversation could be. When I moved to the United States for college at Binghamton University, I faced my own mental health challenges—homesickness, anxiety, and the pressure of being far from home. I realized I couldn’t support everyone by myself, so I founded Runaway, a platform that connects people with volunteers for free, anonymous emotional support. What started as a small effort grew into a global community, collaborating with organizations like UNICEF, and helping thousands of young people find someone to talk to.

My professional journey has always combined technology and social impact, underlined with the common goal of creating safe spaces for people to be heard, understood, and supported, stemming from the values and experiences that nani-ji instilled in me—a sense of purpose that has found a way into the very fabric of my existence.

sincerity and respect

TULIP

In 2024, standing at another crossroads after the exit from Anokha and the launch of Offline Protocol, I felt a familiar sense of anticipation-ready for whatever came next. That summer, I set out on a journey across Europe, immersing myself in new cultures, from vibrant music festivals and art exhibitions to pride parades and quiet city corners. Each encounter-every conversation, every moment of awe-became a mirror, reflecting back the values I wanted to embody and the direction I hoped to take both personally and professionally.

The tulip had been on my tattoo list for a decade, originally meant to honor sincerity and respect for my family. My upbringing and the support of my loved ones have always been my foundation, and this meaning remains close to my heart. But as I found myself alone in Amsterdam, halfway through my travels, the tulip took on a new significance. Surrounded by strangers who welcomed me into their communities, I felt a deep empathy and respect for the diversity of people I met-their stories, their struggles, their joy.

Getting the tulip tattoo in that moment became a symbol of my commitment to service: to channel empathy and respect not only towards my family, but also towards the broader communities I hope to impact. It represents a promise-to dedicate my work at Offline Protocol to creating access, justice, and opportunity for those who need it most. The tulip is now a daily reminder of the kind of leader and person I aspire to be: guided by gratitude, fueled by curiosity, and unwavering in my pursuit of positive change.

MENTAL HEALTH

RUNAWAY

RUNAWAY

RUNAWAY

Runaway app was a peer-to-peer mental health platform designed to provide young people with free, anonymous emotional support and a safe space to talk about their struggles. The core idea behind Runaway was to connect individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges with trained student volunteers, known as ambassadors, who are available to listen and offer support without judgment. The inspiration for Runaway came from my personal experiences with social exclusion, bullying, and witnessing friends struggle with mental health issues, including self-harm and suicide. Initially, I began reaching out to people in distress on social media, offering a listening ear and support. Realizing the impact of these conversations, I envisioned scaling this support network through an app.

still curious?

Curiosity is at the heart of everything I do-it keeps me exploring, learning, and growing. This is my space to share what’s inspiring me right now: the music on repeat, the flavors I’m craving, the artists and creators who spark my imagination, and all the little discoveries that keep me endlessly fascinated by the world. Dive in and explore what’s fueling my curiosity these days.

HEAR

HEAR

A collection of tracks I keep coming back to-perfect for when you want to tune out the noise and just vibe. From mellow indie and smooth hip-hop to a few unexpected favorites, these songs are the soundtrack to lazy afternoons, late-night thoughts, and everything in between. No skips, just good energy.

EAT

EAT

Lately, nothing hits the spot like a classic halal express mix over rice-total comfort food, especially with the New York rain and those moments when I’m missing Indian spices and textures. It’s simple, satisfying, and always feels like home in a bowl.

ART

ART

When it comes to artistic inspiration, David Hockney is my staple. In a tech industry that’s increasingly defined by creative stagnation and the monotony of AI-generated content, Hockney’s work is my antidote. His vibrant colors, playful perspectives, and unapologetic celebration of life always bring me back to what matters: art that feels alive.

Whenever I find myself caught in the grayscale of algorithms and efficiency, Hockney’s paintings ground me. They remind me of the power of visual elegance and the overwhelming passion that drives truly ambitious, humanized creation. His art pushes me to infuse my own work with more color, emotion, and a relentless curiosity-qualities that keep creativity at the heart of everything I build.
